Setup Custom Values
The Custom Values section allows us to quickly add variable across different sections of the software so that we can update a value in one spot and have it be updated everywhere else, such as campaigns, emails and SMSs.
Go to: Location > Settings Custom Values
edit each of the values that you have information for. The critical ones for every business are as follows:
- Business Name
- City Name
- Doctor Name (full first and last name followed by DDS)
- From Email
- State Name
- Twilio Number - this is the number setup in step 5.
- Your App Login URL (https://send.primelocal.com)
- Email Opt Out Statement *** see below on how to set this up.
There are other values in this section that pertain to running a campaign. These should be filled out if the client is running a campaign. Depending on the snapshot loaded in step 2 these will be different. They can be used in the campaign as necessary. New ones can also be created.
Its best practice to fill out as many of these as possible.
the other values not filled out at this moment can be added later when more information on the campaign is found. Email Opt Out Statement
1. start by placing this in the "email opt out statement"
opt out of all communicatons by <a href="{{trigger_link.XXXXXXXXXXXXX}}">clicking here</a>
2. next we need to generate the correct trigger link value and replace it where we placed it above.
This can be generated by going to any of the email campaigns and using the editor to create a link. you won't place this in the email, just copy it and go back to: location > settings > custom values
