Setup Phone Number
Next we'll setup a phone number that will allow us to receive calls and send SMS messages.
Go to: Location > Settings > Phone Numbers > Add Number
Search for a location specific area code. You'll then get a list of numbers. Before we select one of the numbers we need to do a reverse number lookup and try to verify that the number is "clean" and hasn't been flagged as a spam offender in the past.
copy a number to your clipboard and go to White Pages Reverse Phone Lookup.
Put your number in the search bar and click search.
Here we're looking to select a number that has a "low risk" for spam and fraud potential. If the number you're checking doesn't score "low risk" select a different number from list in Prime Local Software and check again.
Put the official office phone number in the "Call Forwarding Number" field and enable "Call Recording"
*** the official office phone number can often be gotten by searching google for the GMB listing. Do not assume the number on their website is the official number as this might be setup as a call tracking number. When in doubt ask!
